The Gathering 2026
Connecting Our Community
The Gathering is where the WMI Alumni community comes together to reconnect, learn from one another and have the conversations that move our businesses, our communities and Atlantic Canada forward.
This October, we’re bringing the community to St. Andrews New Brunswick for three days designed around connection, conversation and shared experience. From thought-provoking keynotes and discussions on the future of our region to interactive working sessions, community celebrations and plenty of time to simply reconnect, The Gathering 2026 is about making the most of having this incredible network in one place.
This year’s program will explore some of the biggest opportunities and challenges facing Atlantic Canadian leaders, including succession and ownership transition, access to capital, financial resilience, AI and the future of our regional economy. We’ll hear from leaders including Don Mills, Zita Cobb, Cathy Bennett, Chief Terry Richardson, Michael McCain and Scott McCain, while creating space for our alumni to contribute their own experience and perspective.
And because some of the most valuable Gathering moments happen outside the formal program, there will be lots of ways to connect throughout the three days, from our St. Andrews Scavenger Hunt and evening celebrations to a dedicated Wellness Lounge open throughout the event.
We’ll also come together to recognize the people who make this community what it is through our Honorary Member Inductions and the inaugural WMI Impact Awards, celebrating the leadership, innovation, influence and impact of our alumni.
Come ready to connect, contribute, celebrate and leave with new ideas, new relationships and renewed energy for what’s ahead.
