Lisa is a professional accountant with over 25 years of experience across the public, private and non-profit sectors in all areas of internal operations and governance. Lisa is a business graduate of l’Université de Moncton with a
specialty in Management Information Systems and a CPA. She is also a member of the WMI 2iC4 cohort. She believes strongly in helping foster entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship in the Maritimes. When not working with numbers, she can be found at home with
family, playing volleyball with friends or reading a book.

Jennifer Estey
Jennifer’s love of art began in childhood and has always been a force in her life. Jennifer is the Founder and Executive Director of the
Estey Art Initiative Inc. It’s primary service is an after school program that engages children through art. Jennifer designed and executed
her art classes on her own in just a few locations starting in 2006. Since then, she has generated a province wide team of artists who
teach her program throughout much of New Brunswick. Jennifer’s professional work can be found in both private and public collections on both sides of the border. A portion of all her original artwork sales is donated to her sponsorship program, enabling more
students this inspirational opportunity. Jennifer lives near Fredericton and is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Mary Anne and Laura.

Joanna is a proud member of the WMI Alumni and ELP12F, serving as Program Director for The Order. Deeply aligned with the values and vision of WMI, she is committed to strengthening the alumni experience, building meaningful connections, and driving strategic growth within the network.
With a background in hospitality entrepreneurship, Joanna previously owned and operated two independent restaurants. She now supports operations at The Evandale Resort—an historic inn, pub, and gathering place in rural New Brunswick. Her experience in people-first leadership, operational strategy, and creating spaces that bring people together has made her a natural fit for this next chapter.

Stephanie founded Allied Therapy in 2019 with a clear mission: to ensure that every person in Nova Scotia can access high-quality, private healthcare when they need it most. Under her leadership, Allied Therapy has grown into a trusted multidisciplinary clinic offering accessible Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Behaviour Therapy services across the province.
Recognized as a Top 50 CEO by Atlantic Business Magazine in 2025, Stephanie is known for her commitment to innovation, ethical leadership, and client-centred care. Her curiosity and dedication to evidence-based practice have shaped Allied Therapy’s culture which prioritizes personalized, accessible, and collaborative support for families navigating complex needs. Nova Scotia Works honoured Allied Therapy as a nominee for the Employer Award: Celebrating Champions of Inclusion in 2025.
Deeply committed to her profession and her community, Stephanie contributes her expertise in several leadership and volunteer roles. She is a member of the Canadian Accessibility Network and has volunteered as a Venue Lead for the Canada Games (2017) and the North American Indigenous Games (2023), a mentor for women entrepreneurs through the Scotiabank Women Initiative®, and a professional mentor with the Immigration Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS). She supports the next generation of clinicians as a clinical educator for Speech-Language Pathologists through Dalhousie University and serves as a Discipline Committee Member for the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists.Today, Stephanie leads a growing team of therapists and administrative professionals who share her vision: that every Atlantic Canadian family feels supported, informed, and never stuck.

Sam McPhail
Sam MacPhail is a twenty-eight-year-old executive passionate about public affairs and professional writing. He serves as CEO for Golf PEI, a not-for-profit marketing agency representing all golf courses on Prince Edward Island. He previously worked for the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce as policy and communications manager and as executive assistant to the 32nd Premier of PEI. A published author, Sam has raised over $15,000 for local breakfast programs through his book on one of PEI’s longest-serving politicians, Ron MacKinley.
Sam is highly resourceful and entrepreneurial-minded, having been selected as one of Atlantic Canada’s 30 Under 30 by Atlantic Business Magazine (2020) and a part of The Peak’s Emerging Leader’s List (2023). He graduated from UPEI as valedictorian for the Faculty of Business. He is an avid golfer, reader, and writer.

Shane McConchie
Shane McConchie is the General Manager of McConchie TruckingLtd, based in Norton, NB. Shane has been part of McConchie Trucking since 1995. With 50 employees, McConchie Trucking specializes in movement and installation of all types of manufactured housing across eastern Canada and parts of New England. With projects ranging in size
from a single tiny home or bungalow to large commercial projects such as multi-level apartment buildings and hotels, it is important for the company and its people to remain adaptable and prepared to tackle new challenges. In addition to the housing division,
McConchie Trucking also services customer needs with heavy equipment floats, fatbeds and van trailers, covering all of Canada
and the United States. Alongside the family business, Shane previously owned and operated his own small trucking company, Esteem Enterprises for eight years, gaining valuable experience in business operations and
fleet management. He then spent three years in the crane industry, further broadening his experience with heavy equipment,
construction and specialized transportation. Throughout his time with Esteem Enterprises and in the crane industry, he remained actively
involved with McConchie Trucking. In 2012 Shane shifted his full focus back to the family business. In 2024, after 48 years in business, the McConchie Family made the decision to sell the McConchie Trucking to Kingsco Holdings of
Sussex, NB. As part of the transition, Shane took on the role of General Manager at McConchie Trucking, which continues to operate independently of the other companies in the Kingsco group. Thanks to strong support from key, long term employees, Shane strives to ensure McConchie Trucking operates efficiently and upholds the strong reputation it has built since its founding in 1976.

Yennah Hurley
Yennah Hurley started Walking Proud Inc in 2005 bringing the sport of Nordic Walking to be an event as a marathons across Canada
and Eastern United States. She continued to grow her business and is the founder of Daytripping@Rockwood, an outdoor adventure
company in Saint John. After developing the business over 5 years, Yennah sold Daytripping in 2012. Yennah then founded and ran as the Executive Director of the KV Oasis Youth Centre, a start up charitable community organization with 3 social enterprises. Youth ages 12-25 can access recreation, entertainment, social interaction, physical and mental health service and resources.

Nadine Bernard
Nadine Bernard, a visionary Mi'kmaq entrepreneur from We'koqma'q First Nation, is a recognized leader in Indigenous engagement and procurement in Atlantic Canada. She is the CEO and Founder of Indigevisor Ltd, a consulting firm specializing in Indigenous communication and engagement strategies, as well as Indigenous Benefit plans for infrastructure projects. Nadine's diverse background includes roles in Indigenous NGOs, Municipal and Provincial Governments, focusing on Diversity and Inclusion and Anti-Racism initiatives.
Her expertise spans construction, renewable energy, forestry, and mining sectors. Committed to community and reconciliation, Nadine serves on the board of Tribe Network and has been involved in various organizations promoting women's status, food security, and police review. Her academic accomplishments include studies in Mi'kmaq Studies, Business, Aboriginal Leadership, and Indigenous Women in Community Leadership. Nadine's dedication, as a mother and a catalyst for positive change, has made a significant impact on Indigenous communities and society at large.
