Alumni Spotlight
Celebrating the people and stories that make our alumni community thrive
The WMI & Order Alumni Spotlight series highlights leaders from across our alumni community. Each feature shares a member’s story, experiences, and advice - offering practical takeaways, inspiration, and a deeper sense of connection.
We’re starting with leadership and board members to set the tone for the series, and then we’ll expand to alumni from every cohort, industry, and region. Together, these spotlights will build a catalogue of insights and stories that reflect the strength and diversity of our alumni network.

What’s something you’re working on right now that excites you?
I recently hit pause after eight years at Measurand, where I had the opportunity to be part of a significant growth and exit journey. It was a rewarding experience and a chance to learn a lot about scaling a business. Right now, I’m taking some time to step back before deciding what’s next - making the most of the flexibility to travel, volunteer, and explore where I can add the most value.
What’s been one of the biggest lessons from your professional journey?
Scaling a business isn't about being the smartest person in the room, it’s about building a better room. The best teams bring together people with different strengths who challenge each other and elevate the quality of decisions.
What does being part of WMI Alumni mean to you?
To be honest, I wasn’t very involved in the Order at first. I valued the SEP experience, but mostly stayed connected to my cohort. That shifted when I was asked to step in and help strengthen the financial side of the Order. Saying yes turned out to be extremely rewarding - it gave me a chance to contribute meaningfully, build new relationships, and feel more connected to the broader network.
There’s strong momentum right now and I’m excited about where things are headed - and being part of that momentum.
Any advice you’d give to fellow members navigating growth or change?
During periods of change, teams don’t need perfection - they need clarity, consistency, and context. The more transparent you are, the more trust you build.
Just for fun: What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I competed internationally in beach volleyball at the Jeux de la Francophonie - and have stayed connected to the sport through coaching and board involvement.
Right now, I’m especially excited to be part of the organizing committee for the upcoming NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship (an Olympic qualifying event) being hosted locally, with teams including Canada, the U.S., Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
I’d love to connect with other members about…
How we can better support entrepreneurs on the subject of financial literacy - whether that’s tools, programming, or simply making the numbers feel less intimidating.

We’re in a constant state of change right now. Markets look at leaders to “move fast,” “pivot quickly,” “decide now.” My fellow Eagles, I love a quick turn around. But the truth is, there’s wisdom in the pause too.

Always strive to be the best version of yourself. Ask for help. When in doubt go back to your company values for guidance on difficult decisions.
